Olushola Ayanda, an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria investigated the analysis and treatment of tributyltin and triphenyltin compounds from marine wastewater in South Africa. With more than 100 published articles in Water Treatment and related fields to his credit, he is presently working on the application of nanomaterials combined with advanced oxidation treatment techniques for the removal of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs), persistent organic pollutants (POPs), emerging micropollutants, etc. from contaminated water and wastewater.
