The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Starzs Investments Company Limited (SICL), Iroghama Ogbeifun, has attributed the company's four decades of success to its unwavering faith-based values and the strong foundation laid by its founder and Chairman, Engr. Greg Ogbeifun.

Speaking during Starzs' 40th anniversary celebration on Saturday, Ogbeifun described the company's Christian values as the guiding force behind its resilience and sustained growth.

"We are a faith-based company, and I am unapologetic about it. That foundation has kept us focused and prevented us from compromising our values, even under market pressure," she said.

She paid an emotional tribute to her father, thanking him for his vision, leadership, and enduring legacy.

"I am proud to stand on your shoulders because they are strong. Thank you for your wisdom, guidance, and counsel. Your principles continue to inspire me every day."

Ogbeifun revealed that faith remains deeply embedded in Starzs' corporate culture. 

She noted that the company holds weekly Monday devotion and openly communicates its Christian identity to prospective employees during recruitment.

"We don't hide who we are. We believe God has brought us this far, and we continue to put Him first in everything we do," she said.

She also highlighted the company's long-standing commitment to tithing, describing it as a non-negotiable practice established by the founder.

"There were times when resources were limited, but the tithe was always paid. It has never been about abundance- it has always been an act of obedience and faith."

According to the CEO, Starzs has grown from making modest contributions to giving significantly more today, including donations in foreign currency, while maintaining the same spirit of sacrificial giving.

Ogbeifun expressed appreciation to churches that have benefited from the company's support, as well as employees whose dedication has driven Starzs' success over the past 40 years.

"People build great organisations. Our staff, both onshore and offshore, are the reason we continue to grow stronger every day."

She also thanked ministers who attended the anniversary service, saying their prayers and encouragement renewed her strength for the company's next phase of expansion.

"We are growing bigger, becoming stronger, and embracing new opportunities. We believe there are no limits to what lies ahead."

Delivering his exhortation , Rev. Lanre Oluseye, Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Port Harcourt, praised Chairman Greg Ogbeifun as a leader who has earned both respect and honour through performance and character.

"There is a difference between honour that comes from position and honour that comes from performance. Engr. Greg Ogbeifun represents both," he said.

The cleric commended the founder's perseverance through decades of challenges, noting that no organisation reaches a 40-year milestone without overcoming significant obstacles.

"Success is often shaped by adversity. What you survived is what made you who you are today."

Drawing inspiration from the biblical story of Shammar, one of King David's mighty warriors, Rev. Oluseye encouraged Starzs leadership to remain steadfast as they enter a new phase of growth.

"Forty years is not the end of the journey. There will be new battles, but the God who sustained you in the past remains the same. Stand your ground, and He will give you victory."

He concluded by urging the company to continue placing God at the centre of its operations, expressing confidence that Starzs’ greatest achievements still lie ahead.

As Starzs celebrates its 40th anniversary, the company reaffirmed its commitment to faith-driven leadership, corporate excellence, and sustainable growth, while honouring the vision that has guided its journey since inception.
