About Us

MARITIME TV AFRICA IS A LEADING INDEPENDENT BROADCASTER OF PREMIUM CONTENT ON THE MARINE/MARITIME INDUSTRY IN AFRICA
Specialising in the reportage of maritime/marine sector for over two decades availed us a good understanding of the art, science and politics of the sector in Nigeria. As our work now extends beyond Nigeria to Africa, understanding the African perspective and projecting the industry as a whole is critical in determining the fate of the maritime industry and the African economy…the media remains the leverage for shaping political and professional decisions and for creating the required enabling environment.
- Ezinne Azunna, Executive Producer & Creative Director, Maritime TV Africa (2020).

Every day, we create distinct, world-class compelling content, which inform, educate and entertain the public. We debuted in March 2020 after producing documentaries on the maritime industry in Nigeria for five years. Our debut production was “Green Waters: The Story of Indigenous Ship-Owning in Nigeria” in 2015. https://youtu.be/5-in-hTz8Dk

Maritime TV Africa has a penchant for unusual stories …our work has the attention of the industry and governments.  We have received several commendations and in 2022, we won the Media of the Year Award by Seafarers Awards, Nigeria.  Same year, we extended our coverage to the entire Africa.

Our other publication/projects include The Nigerian Maritime News, African Maritime Art Exhibition (AMAE), the Maritime Writes Project and Nigeria Ship Finance Conference & Exhibition (NISFCOE). We also offer commercial services such as the production of jingles, films and documentaries etc.

We are open to collaborations on storytelling and projects.
